Unloader, Stocker Jobs | Full-Time/Part-Time - $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Michaels is now hiring Stockers and Unloaders in stores across the U.S. We have full-time and part-time shifts and no experience is necessary. Michaels will train you and get you ready to go on day one.

The job runs the store in the background. Trucks come in, freight is unloaded, merchandise is sorted and moved to the sales floor. Shelves are stocked and the store stays ready for customers. It is physical work and you are on your feet all shift but the schedule is steady and the pay is weekly.

Most stocking shifts are overnight or early morning – before the store opens or during its opening hours – so the floor is clear and organised by the time the day gets busy. This arrangement is ideal if you like mornings or nights rather than the regular daytime hours.

Job Role:

• Unloading trucks as deliveries arrive and sorting merchandise in the backroom
• Transporting freight from receiving areas to the right sections of the store
• Filling shelves, rotating stock and ensuring items are labelled and faced correctly
• Clean, organised aisles, backroom areas and receiving zones
• After training, can operate pallet jack and hand scanner equipment
• inventory and report any shortages or overages to your supervisor
• Helping other departments on the floor as needed during your shift

Required Skills:

• Physically fit — you'll be lifting up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Reliable and punctual — shifts run on a fixed schedule
• Comfortable working overnight or early morning hours at most locations
• Able to operate basic equipment after completing Michaels in-store training
• Basic communication skills for working with your team and receiving instructions
• No formal qualifications or prior experience required
