Belay Solutions is a US-based company that provides remote staffing services to businesses across the country. They have been hiring remote bookkeepers for several years now and are one of the most well known names in the remote work industry. Right now they are looking for part-time bookkeepers who can manage basic accounting tasks for their clients from home.
This is not an entry level role. You should have some bookkeeping or accounting experience before applying. But the good news is you do not need to go to any office, attend fixed shifts, or relocate anywhere. All the work is done online from your home.
Job Responsiblity:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for assigned clients
- Record financial transactions and keep accounts up to date
- Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
- Prepare basic financial reports as requested by clients
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Communicate with clients over email or video calls when needed
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Good knowledge of QuickBooks Online — this is required
- Comfortable working with multiple clients at the same time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience is required. Experience working with small businesses or multiple clients at once is a plus. Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is mandatory — candidates without it will not be considered.
Working Hours
- Part-time: 20 hours per week on average
- Flexible schedule — you set your own hours
- Must be available for occasional client calls during US business hours
