Argos is one of the UK's most recognisable retail brands and its Leeds distribution centre handles orders for stores and customers across the north of England. They are recruiting Picker Packers to join the team now and there is immediate start available for the right candidates.
The work is fast paced and physical. You will grab items off the shelves, pack them up right and make sure that everything is shipped correctly and on time. No experience necessary. If you come and stay with the team you can start this week.
What You Will Be Doing
- Pick products from warehouse shelves using a handheld RF scanner
- Pack items securely into boxes ready for dispatch to stores or customers
- Check your own picks for accuracy before sending them down the line
- Work to daily picking targets set by your team leader
- Keep your picking zone tidy and report any stock discrepancies
- Help with inbound stock checks when deliveries arrive at the warehouse
- Follow all health and safety rules on the warehouse floor at all times
Pay and Shifts
- £11.75 to £13.50 per hour depending on shift and experience
- Full time 40 hours per week
- Day shifts and night shifts both available
- Night shift workers receive an additional shift premium on top of base pay
- Weekly pay every Friday
- Overtime available during peak retail periods

Requirements & Qualifications
What you need before applying:
- Right to work in the UK
- 18 years or older
- Comfortable being on your feet and moving around for a full shift
- Can lift and carry items up to 20kg without difficulty
- Reliable and able to hit daily picking targets consistently
- Basic English to follow instructions and use the RF scanner
- No warehouse or picking experience required — full training on day one
