Job Description

BrightSpring Health Services provides in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities across the United States. Their Dallas team is hiring full time Senior Caregivers right now. You will be going into clients' homes every day and helping them with the things they can no longer do on their own.

This is not a hospital job. You will be working one on one with elderly clients in their own homes. Some clients need a lot of help. Others just need someone to check in, help with meals, and make sure they are safe. Every day is a little different depending on who you are assigned to.

Job Responsiblity

Help clients with bathing, dressing, and personal grooming
Prepare meals and make sure clients are eating and drinking properly
Assist with light housekeeping — laundry, dishes, tidying up
Take clients to medical appointments or run errands when needed
Give medication reminders at the right times each day
Keep a simple daily log of the client's condition and any changes you notice
Call your supervisor straight away if a client seems unwell or something concerns you
Build a consistent routine with each client so they feel comfortable and safe

Pay and Hours

$14.00 – $17.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
Full time: 35 to 40 hours per week
Day shifts Monday to Friday
Some weekend availability required on a rotational basis
Weekly pay direct to your bank account
Mileage reimbursement when travelling between client homes

Requirements & Qualifications

Right to work in the United States
18 years or older
A valid driver's license and reliable transport — you will travel between client homes
Comfortable working alone in a client's home with minimal supervision
Patient and calm when dealing with elderly clients who may be confused or frustrated
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred — BrightSpring can help with this
A clean background check is required before starting
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for entry level positions
